Change the way you charity.

The DV Collective is unique in that we go out to our members and identify the support THEY need and ASK THEM how we can implement a solution. We then go back to our corporate partners to become a part of the solution.

The three streams of support are -

  • Fundraising

  • Pro-bono Products and Services

  • Volunteering

How does Corporate Partnership work?

Each corporate is unique, so each partnership is unique and EVERYONE has the opportunity to become involved and contribute so more women and children can escape safely.

Over the past 12 months through consultation with over 100 existing organisations we have created a calendar of events that will provide your employees -

  1. National Opportunities in both Metro and Rural locations

  2. A wide variety of activities engaging employees through skilled based opportunities, team building programs and interest based contributions.

  3. Connection to small grass root organisations who do not have the capacity or the skills to co-ordinate support.

  4. One single focus on Domestic Violence, but including over 100 organisations. One clear message and connection to cause, eliminating the overwhelm and charity fatigue.

  5. Tailored program to increase employee engagement.

  6. Access and personal connection to our founder Kylie Johanson.

    1. Choose Two Campaigns

Let’s start with two and we can add more later. The DV Collective help launch and co-ordinate campaigns created to engage and connect your employees to the cause and THE WHY.

Car Wash

  • Due to risings costs of fuel, many support services can not afford to get out to community to provide essential support to women. Money raised through your Carwash goes directly to purchasing fuel cards.

  • The DV Collective organises a day where your employees will be rostered to wash cars through a local Car Washing facility. The co-branded event will be promoted through local media to notify the community to bring their cars down on the day.

Product Drives

  • Many women flee with just the clothes on their back. Shelters are struggling to provide the basics including nappies and toiletries.

  • The DV Collective organises product drives including nappies, toiletries, phones, baby items, P.J’s…. Partnering with over 20 shelters across Australia we identify what they need and then co-ordinate a drive through your office. Your team can then pack and sort and send off to our shelters with a message of support.

Silly Socks for a Safe House

  • Women and Children are being turned away every day as there are not enough beds at women’s shelters. The money raised through the sale of #Silly Socks purchases essential items such as toiletries, linen, kitchen essentials, underwear and nighties. This allows the shelters to spend their government funding on providing real support to women. Our goal is to build more shelters.. but one step at a time.

  • Through a wide range of different programs we co-ordinate a connection to the cause and encourage your employees or customers to purchase a pair of socks.

2. How Many Employee Volunteering Placements

Employee Volunteering is now offered through majority of corporates, however employee engagement in the program differs greatly from one corporate to the next. Are you simply ticking a box or are you genuine about CONNECTION to CAUSE?

The DV Collective provide a wide selection of volunteering opportunities and your employees get to work with over 100 small grass root organisations across Australia who do not have the skills or time to co-ordinate their own fundraising or ask for help.
